Chetan Bhagat launched his much awaited book Half Girlfriend, and even before the book was launched, it was decided that it will be made into a Bollywood screenplay. Directed by Mohit Suri, the Bollywood adaptation will also see Bhagat debut as a producer! <br />We all know that, so? Well, now we hear that Kriti Sanon has been roped in to play the female lead. While the buzz was that Alia Bhatt was also a strong contender for this role, we thought Sanon showed enough promise in her debut Heropanti to be bagging a role this crucial. More power to her! <br /> <br />While Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh seem to be unavailable for the project, a new name is doing the rounds as the possible protagonist for ‘Half Girlfriend’. It’s none other than Varun Dhawan! <br />If things work out, we think the Kriti and Varun pair will be something to look out for. What do you think?
